“The OnePlus Two will reportedly offer a 5.5-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 810 CPU, and a fingerprint scanner”
Earlier this week, OnePlus reportedly confirmed that the brand is planning to introduce two new smartphones this year, with one of them labelled OnePlus Two. Both are expected to go on sale in the second half of the year.
Now the company has posted an invite on Twitter for an event scheduled for April 20th. The invite doesn’t reveal what exactly the vendor is planning to unveil, but below the image there’s a caption saying “anything could happen.”
Reports suggest that OnePlus could announce at least one of the two upcoming smartphones at the April 20th event. Since the OnePlus One (review | cheatsheet) was introduced in April last year, maybe it’s time for the One’s successor. However, we won’t be surprised if OnePlus unveils something else, since the brand reportedly also has a smartwatch in the pipeline.
As far as the OnePlus Two is concerned, the rumour Mill suggests it will offer a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 16MP camera, a fingerprint scanner, and possibly, even expandable memory. We will be bringing you all the updates from next week’s event, so stay tuned for more details.
