“The OnePlus 10,000mAh power bank is capable of providing three full recharges for the One”
In December last year, the Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus forayed into the world of universal mobile accessories with the launch of a power bank, but didn’t release it globally. Now the vendor has announced that the OnePlus 10,000mAh power bank is finally coming to India. The company’s India Head Vikas Agarwal revealed that the accessory will be available in the country in the last week of April via Amazon India.
The OnePlus 10,000mAh power bank comes in Silk White and Sandstone black variants. It is capable of providing three full recharges for the OnePlus One, which packs in a 3,100mAh battery. The device comes with a host of safety features for protection against overheating, overcharging, electrostatic, and short circuit. It has two USB ports to charge two devices simultaneously. The accessory can be switched on with a gentle shake, comes with DC 5V/2A power input/output, LED indicators to display charging status, and takes 5.5 hours to fully charge.
There’s no word on the pricing of the OnePlus 10,000mAh power bank for India. However, looking at the price of the device in China, it is expected to be priced below Rs 1,000 here. In addition to the power bank, the brand will also start selling the swappable bamboo back panels for the OnePlus One in the country later this month.
Meanwhile, OnePlus has said goodbye to the invite model for the One , and has announced it will be selling the smartphone directly on Amazon. Starting today, both the 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black editions of the phone would be available to buy without any invitations.
